Meet Emma the cow. After the dairy farm where she lived
closed, she was destined for slaughter. Thankfully for Emma the Kuhrettung
Rhein-Berg sanctuary rescued her. As the video opens, Emma is loaded into a
trailer headed to her new home. But Emma is terrified. Tears stream down her
face as she faces an unknown future.
As soon as she arrives at the farm sanctuary, Emma is
introduced to the other cows. Emma has never lived in a herd before so she is
hesitant at first. Bbut gradually she lets the other cows approach her and soon
they sniffing each other and following after her, ushering her into her new
family.
It’s an uplifting moment, seeing Emma in a place where she
can be happy for the rest of her life.
